Amela Terzic, one of the members of the National Team for the European Athletics Indoor Championships (Belgrade 3-5 March) set today a new National Record at 800m – 2:03,27. Amela bettered the Record from 2011, set by  Marina Munćan (2:05,75).

Terzić  had a good race at 1500m too, showing that she is ready for challenges ahead.

„I expected similar result. I trained hard for this and I am sure I can do even better“.

 Prior to European Indoor Championships, Amela will test herself at the Second „Serbian Open Indoor MeetIng“ on February 18 and Balkan Championhsips on February 25.

Besides Amela, Lazar Anić set a good result in the long jump -7.88 meters:

’’Each competition is better than the one before, I am building continuity, which is great”, said Anić.
