Besides Ivana Spanovic, Asmir Kolasinac, Mihail Dudas, Milan Ristic, Lazar Anic, Strahinja Jovancevic, Amela Terzic, Tamara Salaski and Biljana Cvijanovic , one more member joined the National Team of Serbia for the European Indoor Championships – Milos Raovic.

Milos managed to meet the entry standard by running 47.32 at 400m in Vienna (the entry standard for this discipline is 47.35).

‘We have prepared for the winter season in South Africa. However, we have also spent significant amount of time preparing at the Indoor Arena in Belgrade where we had ideal conditions to do all our training. I did not expect to run the standard immediately, but it turned out great at the end. I struggled with injuries for the past two years and I am glad it is now over. I still have enough time to prepare for the European Indoor Championships in Kombank Arena and I hope I will have the chance to represent Serbia in the best possible light’, Said Raovic.

In the upcoming month we will have National Senior Championships (February 4-5) at the Belgrade Indoor Arena, second ‘Serbian Open Indoor Meeting’ and Balkan Games (February 25) in Kombank Arena. Deadline for entry standards for European Indoor Championships is February 26.
